Founded in 2010 by Gomata Makhmalbaf in Glen Waverley, Gmakcon has established a reputation for excellence in both residential and commercial construction. Our journey began with the successful completion of two townhouses in Mount Waverley, and since then, we have delivered a wide range of bespoke luxury homes across Melbourne’s prestigious eastern suburbs — from Balwyn to Brighton East, Toorak to Glen Waverley.
In 2015, Gmakcon expanded into the commercial sector, with a specialised focus on the construction of medical and dental facilities. Our expertise in this highly regulated and detail-oriented space ensures every project meets the highest standards of functionality, compliance, and design. We also continue to undertake general commercial developments, delivering quality and precision at every stage.

Gomata Makhmalbaf
Founder & Director
Gomata Makhmalbaf is the Founder and Director of Gmakcon. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from Monash University, graduating in 2008. Gomata began his career in large-scale industrial engineering, working in coal handling facilities near Newcastle, NSW, where he gained hands-on experience with complex infrastructure such as conveyors and wharf systems. In 2010, he returned to Melbourne and established Gmakcon, bringing his engineering expertise and vision to the residential and commercial construction sectors. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a trusted name in luxury home building and specialist medical and dental construction.
Angelo Natoli
Senior Project Manager
Angelo Natoli is a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with over 25 years in the construction industry and a background in both Construction Management (Honours) and Architecture. He has successfully delivered a wide range of residential, commercial, and government projects across Victoria, including large-scale apartment complexes, schools, aged care facilities, and medical buildings.
Throughout his career, Angelo has worked with major builders on projects valued up to $65 million, bringing a strong focus on quality, budget control, and timely delivery. At Gmakcon, he oversees complex builds with precision and clarity, ensuring our commitment to excellence is maintained across every stage of construction.
Mark Mancuso
Site Manager
Mark Mancuso brings over 30 years of hands-on experience in the building industry, having started his career as a carpenter in 1993. His deep knowledge of construction practices, attention to detail, and commitment to high standards have made him a trusted figure in both residential and multi-unit developments.
Mark has worked with some of Melbourne’s most reputable luxury builders, managing high-end custom builds from excavation through to handover, with project values ranging from $800K to $7 million. He excels at coordinating trades, maintaining timelines, and building positive client relationships — ensuring every project is delivered with professionalism and care.
Hitesh Jotani
Contract Administrator
Hitesh Jotani is a skilled Contract Administrator with over seven years of experience managing residential, commercial, and fit-out projects across Melbourne. With a background in Civil Engineering and further studies in Engineering at the University of Technology Sydney, Hitesh combines strong technical knowledge with a sharp eye for detail and process.
His expertise spans tendering, contract preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and progress claims. Proficient in industry software such as Jobpac, Cheops, CostX, and Cubit, Hitesh plays a key role in ensuring Gmakcon’s projects are delivered with precision, compliance, and commercial clarity.
Paul Reams
Lead Hand
Paul Reams joined the Gmakcon team in 2022, bringing a fresh perspective and a strong work ethic to the construction industry. After spending much of his life as a baker, Paul decided to pursue a new challenge, leveraging his natural ability with tools and hands-on tasks. Since transitioning to construction, he has quickly become an indispensable member of the team.
Paul is known for his reliability, dedication, and keen willingness to learn and grow in his role. His strong work ethic, trustworthiness, and commitment to excellence on every project have made him a valued asset at Gmakcon.
